Imagine being the fisherman who pulled in this whopper- a 5m, one-ton megamouth shark.
The ultra-rare fish, which feeds on plankton by swimming with its huge mouth open, was caught in nets last Friday near Owase Port in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
The deep-sea denizen, which rises higher up to feed, is usually found some 160m below the surface - if it is found at all.
It has been spotted a mere 60 or so times since it was first discovered in the mid-1970s.
This specimen was reportedly snapped up for further sale by a Japanese fishmonger.
