YouTube Gaming, the mobile app dedicated to gaming content on the site, is now available in Ireland.
The app keeps you connected to the games and personalities from YouTube’s thriving gaming category with let's plays, reviews, speedruns, trailers, and more. The app’s blurb says that the app lets you “explore the games you care about more deeply than ever before.”
As well as launching in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, an update has been released to give the app a slight redesign and tweak some features.
The changelog says that YouTube Gaming version 1.3 includes:
- Revised homepage navigation based on your feedback
- New pages to manage your games and channels, plus discover new ones
- “Live” tab on the homepage with top streams, top games, and more
- Sort top live streams by total viewer count in addition to viewership in your region
- 3D Touch: support for home screen quick actions
- iPad Pro support
- Performance improvements and bug fixes
The YouTube Gaming app is available from iTunes and the Google Play Store
